Musical poet Kae Tempest released another beautifully made track from their upcoming studio album: “Salt Coast”.
Tempest collaborated with one of the most acclaimed producers around, Dan Carey, for the upcoming album Line is a Curve. Dan previously produced many great artists ranging from Lilly Allan to Lianna La Havas. "Salt Coast" proved that this collaboration would be another of Dan's remarkable works to describe his mastery in the field.
The new track sets up a moving atmosphere through the dynamic synth and trumpet sounds that start the song. Following the moody and drone-like trumpet, the electronic and confident drum beat comes along unexpectedly as if it is telling the listener to concentrate on what is to happen next. With the Tempest's distinctive flow on the mic, the song builds an emotionally affecting energy for the listener. Speaking of their new track, Kae says, "My love song to this complex, devastating, stunning island Salt Coast is out now. This song means the world to me. Hope you feel it." It was almost impossible to feel deep emotions through their lyrics' beautiful metaphors and associations accompanied by very well-made musical parts.
The highly anticipated album will be released on April 8 via Fiction Records. Although the first release from the album made us highly excited for the upcoming album, the beautifully made moving “Salt Coast” set our excitements and expectations to another level.
