Zack Fowler - 'F*** About Me'

Watch out emo kids, Zack Fowler is the new man in town and he will break your pop-punk heart.
Pop-punk rocker Zack Fowler has emerged out of the smoke of everyday life. Bringing us realistic, emotional ,energetic tracks that fill a hole in our soul. Looking up to the likes of Machine Gun Kelly and Blink-182 it’s not doubt they have influenced him in the right direction. Creating his own musical songwriting lane adding in EDM to his pop-punk style.
His latest single ‘Fuck About Me’ is a witty, snappy track that clocks in at just under two minutes long. I really hoped it went longer, but they say great things come in small packages. ‘Fuck About Me’ opens with a drum and bass EDM beat that breaks open into a gritty guitar riff and dramatic vocals.
The track is quite a personal one for Zack as it addresses rejection and not fitting in with everyday society. Another personal track that allows us to compare who Zack Fowler was growing up against where he is at now. ‘Fuck About Me’ is a relatable track that forces you to listen to the lyrics closely. Who isn’t a “20 something emo with a guitar” or who’s “really thought about me”. These lyrics are deep and true. As you listen, it becomes clear that no-one is really alone within these experiences.
As the track progresses, it’s goes up, down and pushes and pulls you in all directions. In short amount time, there is a lot packed in there. Staying with the more classic pop-punk style, catchy melody and smashing drums. We still get a small stripped back moment in the middle. Where we hear the chorus echoing with a slow stimming guitar.
Zack Fowler really is the man behind the pop-punk guitar. He will have you wrapped around his finger and before you know it you’ll be singing along with him.
