Jeffrey Paradise’s daytime-disco musical project Poolside has released a new single from the upcoming album Blame It All On Love, and it is an instant hit.
With the end of summer being upon us, Poolside releasing singles from their fourth studio album is an effective remedy against the winter blues. The latest single We Could Be Falling In Love showcases a new era of Poolside - tracks which are intended to be dance floor hits but with the familiar nu-disco motif to which Poolside has stayed true since 2011.
Paradise, the creator of Poolside, has not only created We Could Be Falling In Love in the image of French House tracks, but this is the first Poolside song in which he sings lead vocals. The amalgamation of this experimentation has created a classic summer track which will no doubt prove popular with Poolside fans & dance lovers alike. The heavy bass and continual Funk under-tones are layered with airy tropical beats creates a dichotomy of a club-style floorfiller & a lazy summer’s day soundtrack - Poolside has really outdone himself in 2023.
The song is also the only single that Paradise has sang lead vocals on, along with a double beat drop. It is no surprise that We Could Be Falling In Love is the first song on the track listing, Paradise’s ethereal romance-fuelled dance hit is one that will continue to stick around in your head long after you listen to it.
