Sofia Gillani - 'Bleed'

SOFIA GILLANI’s latest single “BLEED” is here after her single “L.E.D” which was released in August 2023. SofiaGillani is a singer-songwriter based in London with a list of fantastic collection of singles already. BBC Introducing featured her song, ‘Water Run Dry’ which has led her to Luton Pride and Haslemere Fringe, she is leaving a mark wherever she treads. I became a fan for her track, ‘L.E.D’ so I was excited to hear she was putting out another single!
We were lucky to receive another single called, ‘BLEED’, a track filled with emotion and bold vocal melodies. She describes the song as, “Bleed’ is the song dedicated to letting overflowing and overthought emotions and moments be released, in one of the most natural ways, bleeding.”, I found myself hearing Lady Gaga’s moments in the pre-chorus and Marina and the Diamonds in the verses, she is using her vocals like never before. Something to look forward to in the future I’m sure with Sofia Gillani.
She has created a lyric video to go alongside the song which showcase her talent as a songwriter and lyricist. They are relatable and strong, like the chorus in the song showcasing her vocal abilities. You can’t help but enjoy the DIY attitude Sofia has, creating and producing everything herself, get yourself down to a live show soon become a Day 1 fan.
