Breanna Barbara - 'Landslide'

‘Landslide’ is the daring alternative pop track I have been waiting for. Surprising elements combined with a conventional pop-driven soundscape make up Breanna Barbara’s new single and the second taken from her forthcoming album!
‘Landslide’ is due to appear on her new album ‘Nothin’ But Time’ and it’s an exciting and driving new pop track built on hazy vocals and an ever-surprising soundscape. The shimmer of a hopeful future shines through in her experimental way of bringing sounds to our ears. Barbara is raw, rough and immersive, honest and open in the form of a psychedelic pop rock sound that is refreshing and innovative.
The video for ‘Landslide’ is built around the single’s driving beat and zooms in on the ways that fate affects our daily lives, and the complications that come with taking the wheel yourself. “The video was inspired by a dream I had and the song evokes visuals of 1970’s mystery-spy detective scenes.” Her voice is the anchor of her sound, colouring its soundscapes and making for a vibrant listen.
Upcoming album ‘Nothin’ But Time’ is the follow-up to her debut ‘Mirage Dreams’, and whilst she’s gearing up for its debut, Breanna toured the US with Zamrock legends W.I.T.C.H. and Night Beats alongside a headline tour of her own, she returned to SXSW and played many a hometown show in NYC, including recent dates with the likes of Delicate Steve and King Hannah. So to say that the upcoming album is still only the beginning, is quite the understatement!
