State Champs - 'Eventually'

Eventually is a upbeat, melodic treat from State Champs!
The song bounces straight into the signatures Champs feel, strong lead drums, followed by smooth guitar chugs and Derek DiScanio never fails to lift every song with his euphonious vocals.
The song has a strong sense of honestly which is very reminiscent of earlier work by the band. Personally I love the composure of the song and how to effortlessly flows for the listener. Acceptance and honesty seem to be the strongest themes among with the song. “I started running from what made me paranoid, eventually it caught up to me” Being a very prominent focal point in the song, this clarity and transparency has a comforting aura for the listener.
‘Eventually’ though packed with emotion is a skater anthem to the core. Perfect for those summer skater park sessions and festival bangers, if ‘Eventually’ is anything like the new album it’ll be just what the fans are waiting for!
