'Waiting For The Sun' is the emotional new single from PHWOAR - the first track to be taken from their forthcoming EP 'Flowers Through The Concrete, which is due out in April.
The song is about resilience, as it explores hope as a form of rebellion and learning to find strength in times of weakness. However, it is also a reminder to ourselves and anybody going through difficult times that the lowest ebb is never a constant.
PHWOAR are Helena on drums and Paul on guitar, with both sharing the vocal duties. The track brings silky guitar licks with grungy vocals that are met with hard hitting drums. 'Waiting For The Sun' brings a vintage Sub Pop vibe with a huge chorus to bring it into the modern way.
