Vitesse X - 'way i luv'
NYC-based producer Vitesse X has just released her brand new single ‘way I luv’. Best known for her dreamy soundscapes – this one takes a new twist delving into a realm of tender introspection and raw vulnerability.
“Way I luv” is a song about giving your heart away. Loving so deeply and unconditionally that it comes at the expense of yourself, especially at the hands of those who don’t value it. It’s a plea to protect the heart that doesn’t know how to protect itself.” -Vitesse X
Earlier this year she shared an infectious cover of Pinback’s 2004 hit single “Fortress”, which was featured on Sirius XMU’s Download 15 and "Realize," off her upcoming TBA album, which Stereogum hailed a "blurry banger."
Vitesse X released her debut album, Us Ephemeral, in 2022 with praise from outlets like Pitchfork, Gorilla vs. Bear and One’s To Watch. The title track made VICE’s 50 Best Songs of 2022, was named one of Numéro Magazine’s 7 Female Electronic Producers and Singers to Watch and supported acts like Washed Out, George Clanton, Magdalena Bay and Yunè Pinku. Anticipation is high for her upcoming sophomore album, recently named one of Stereogum's 200 most anticipated albums of 2024.
