CloseUp // Track Of The Month #15 - Rila's Edge - ‘The End’

After a month off following CloseUp Festival, we’re back well and rested for another CloseUp Track of the Month in partnership with When The Horn Blows! This month Berkshire indie/rock outfit Rila’s Edge took the crown with new single ‘The End’.
Nodding to guitar-band mainstays Catfish & The Bottlemen, Foals & more, Rila’s Edge exemplary indie cut ‘The End’ marks the first single from an upcoming EP, teased for the end of the year. Recent support from BBCR1 & sold out hometown shows has tee’d the quintet up for a breakout second half of 2023, as they spread their wings further and level up with more new music.
Speaking on the track, Rila’s Edge says “‘’The lyrics touch upon how your heart is wrestling to stay but in your gut you know it’s time to leave, before it becomes unhealthy and consuming.’
Don’t miss Rila’s Edge headline Notting Hill Arts Club this July (19/7). Tickets available now.
