MYSIE - 'CTRL'
Mysie has released her new single ‘CTRL’ an electronic vibey track, ‘its an empowering song letting him know I will never be fooled by his attempt to reel me back in. It’s about getting back control, and not giving it to someone else’ Mysie herself explains the themes surrounding ‘CTRL’. 'CTRL' was written after ‘receiving a phone call from an unfaithful ex who aired me for 6 months after saying BRB’. ‘CTRL’ is the perfect chilled yet empowering tune, that everyone can relate to.
Mysie has collaborated with Gold Spectacles, a long-time collaborator. This is the first song she has released since the release of her EP Joyride, released in 2022. 'CTRL' has an upbeat tempo with a catchy melody, beautiful vocals and empowering lyrics. 'CTRL' is Two minutes and nineteen seconds worth of gold, that will make you want to get up and dance.
This week Mysie has announced she will be headlining Hoxton Colours show in March this year.
