Eades - 'Delusion Spree'
Eades, the Leeds-based quintet have recently released their newest euphoric, indie-pop bop.
‘Delusion Spree’ features addictive guitar hooks, which certainly make you want to dance around your kitchen. In terms of instrumentals, it features all your typical indie character traits; those being, an up-tempo drum beat, beautifully curated guitar solos and an electric bass line. Cleverly, this joyful instrumentation bears the weight of much heavier lyricism, lyricism which focuses on coping mechanisms and bad habits. The contradiction between lyrics and instrumentation is intelligently orchestrated. ‘Delusion Spree’ in simple terms, is a single that you can’t resist loving. Eades’ talent is unmissable and the band undoubtedly are going to have a very successful future.
