Kodaline - 'Saving Grace’

Kodaline are taking it back to what they do best with their unguarded new single ‘Saving Grace’. 

This Irish four-piece have had quite the career since their monumental breakthrough with 2013’s ‘In A Perfect World’. They’ve also explored a range of genre’s in that time, but are stripping it all back and sticking to what they know best with their fourth album ‘One Day At A Time’. 

The process for their fourth LP took it back to the good old days, the quartet bouncing off each other in their Dublin recording space and bassist Jason Boland taking the reigns on production. The streamlined formula is proving to be winning one thus far, with ‘Wherever You Are’ and ‘Sometimes’ capturing that old spirit and going down very well with their following. Kodaline’s primary objective with their new work is focused on emotion and you get that in abundance with ‘Saving Grace’. 

The track perfectly expresses optimism and vulnerability through soulful harmonies and stringing together a story that is instantly relatable as they pay tribute to the “special person” in your life and the support they bring in our lives. ‘Saving Grace’ cements the fact that Kodaline are back at their very best and perfectly sets up a new chapter for the Irish band.
